I don't know what planet J.S. arrived from but most of the graffiti is not art, as well most graffiti is done on private property without the permission of the owners and the rest is done on public property without the consent of the taxpayer.
Maybe if people like J.S. would start to belong to reality and quit their random vandalism this money could be put back into education or into helping other social problems, so J.S. you and your artists / vandals are the ones taking the money from the programs you think it should go to.
What J.S. gives you the right to come onto my property and vandalize anyway, what gives you the right to do what you and your kind do when I am the one that has to put out the bills to repair what you have destroyed on my property. Everyone can thank J.S. and his friends for a small amount of rise in the cost of living, for just as someone has to pay for shoplifters the same is said for graffiti vandals. Who do you think pays for it in the long run J.S.? It's the consumer, you me and everyone else, as graffiti repair bills trickle on down the line.
Tell me J.S., if this was so much like art and you Vandals wanted to make a stand, that it is the way don't you include your name address and phone # at all your art shows. Even better J.S. why don't you all just leave a billing address so you can pay for the damages thus leaving us law biding citizen's not having to foot the bill.
Yes J.S. it is time you and your friends grow up, become part of the real world and let the rest of us enjoy what we have on our own property. At least the one thing you have taught me over your letter J.S. is I will take pictures of every piece of so called art done on any of our property and send it in as well anyone I see painting I will report them now for sure because you have taught me that people like you have no respect for other people. Hopefully one day J.S. you will have some nice 6x8 cell you can paint up all you want.
G.M.
