Dogs on beach in Kelowna
Re. Brian Kettle letter How many tickets issued? (Castanet, April 15)
I read about dogs on beaches in Penticton.
All anyone has to do is walk in water-front parks in Kelowna and they will see the same thing happens in Kelowna every day.
I sat at Gyro Beach and three bylaw officers on fancy bikes came along. One male officer took time to visit with someone he obviously knew and all the time a big white dog was in and out of water. Not one of the bylaw officers saw that?
Between geese and dogs using the water to (deficate and urinate) in, I feel for children playing in that water as we all know children do get water into their mouths .
