Don't tell me this is the same driver that was involved in the chase here in Kelowna. I think you will find that it is. What is wrong with this picture. The RCMP released this person on a PTA (promise to appear) notice after he caused the chase in Kelowna. During that chase he was driving on the wrong side of the road and on sidewalks to avoid the spike belt and causing pedestrians to jump out of his way.
Why was he not held in custody to be taken before a judge?
Does someone have to be injured or killed before we take people like this off the street?
This is not acceptable and should be looked into by the RCMP to find out why we are working on a "Catch and Release" program for criminals of this type.
