To all those bitter non-unionized workers.
As a member of a Union in the health care sector, and previously in forestry, the work ethic you describe is fully contained within each individual, and is not predicated by a Union. BC's problems are not related to Unions but rather the fact that we are a resource based Province, sans oil.
The Charter of Rights instills certain freedoms that are extended to all Canadians. This notion of innocent until proven guilty is quite respectable in a democratic society. Further, (see above), the idea that Unionized workers are somehow less productive is a fallacy. Other than your own anecdotal ideas, show a legitimate study showing such!
It seems bitterness drives your opinion and thusly compromises your objectiveness.
As an Advanced Life Support Air Evac Paramedic I am proud of the contribution I and others in the Union make to Health care in this Province.
