A prosecution watchdog?

Re. Protester’s charge stayed (Castanet, Nov. 29)

The B.C. Prosecution Service has stayed a charge against a protester who disrupted a Remembrance Day Ceremony (in 2021).

The Crown declined to offer an explanation, falling back on its “two-part test.”

Do you think it is time the province formed a watchdog group, similar to the Independent Investigations Office that (investigates some) police (action) in this province?
