Thank goodness someone in our judicial system saw how ridiculous it is to allow the City of Kelowna to charge 10% late fees.I wasn't even aware of this until recently when for the first time circumstances beyond my control caused me to be late paying my utility bill.
The payment arrived in time to be credited on the next months bill but past the due date. A charge of over $19.00 was added to the next months amount due since the bill paid late was for $197.00. One for the little guys--you really can fight city hall.
