In the news a young cougar was spotted at two locations. It is so small and harmless that the conservation officers feel they have to KILL it because it can't survive on its own in the wild. Is that the job of conservation officers to kill anything that is out of place? How difficult would it be to capture it and send it to any zoo or game farm who would love to adopt it. Doesn't conservation mean to conserve or protect our wild animals along with our environment. HELLO!

To the editor:
I was wondering if others did not feel the concern I do for this young cougar. Is there no way that pressure cannot be brought to bear to find a place for it until it an be returned to the forest?
