I understand everyone needs a chance of making a little more money, but as an early childhood educator, I know ECE assistants make $16 an hour, which is a slap in the face. Early childhood educators make maybe $2 to $4 more.
I feel if the government is going to increase minimum wage, it should be help those who have (a) post-secondary (education) with an increase.
There is already a shortage of ECEs due to (current) wage.
