I am the front desk manager at a local hotel. At present we have a lovely lady staying here who IS covered by her insurance policy.
This woman is not wealthy but yet has struggled, as many of us do, to pay her insurance premiums every year. I am tired of these people who opted to NOT take out insurance expecting the same shakes as though who did.
In the fairness of equity is the community going to rally and repay our guest the money she has put out in insurance premiums! Seems only fair!
Just another quick note -- I rent an apartment and my contents insurance costs me a whopping $30 per month! Not a HUGE price to pay for piece of mind. I might add that I only started buying it when I saw what devastation happened last summer.
