A Gang Is A Gang

I just had to make a comment about "JR's" comments about Hell's Angels being a part of Life. I worked for a local hotel years ago when the Hell's Angel's first started coming around Kelowna, they would rent the whole hotel for a summer long weekend. What I saw was horrible !!! They treated the regular patrons & staff of the hotel/bar/rest like garbage.

I saw them beat on people, intimidate people, demand so called "respect", wouldn't allow tourists or anyone to take a picture of their bikes parked in front of the hotel, (they actually broke a tourist's camera & physically threatened him, this is public property, I might add they blocked off the alley from people who actually live here, it was a disgrace !!!

It's beyond me why the City of Kelowna & RCMP didn't use any of their powers back then, even if they had to create new by-laws to keep them away. I mean come on, there was illegal drug use and activities going on in that back alley, yet no RCMP would touch them..why, probably cause they too were intimidated.

Nothing like 4 or more chapters of Hell's Angels to scare the hell out of you. And as for treating their girlfriends like "queens", that really made me laugh, if their wives or girlfriends saw what was really going on (there was no women allowed on those runs) they probably wouldn't have wives or girlfriends anymore. And they scared any people that were patronizing the surrounding businesses, cause they can be crude, rude, very verbally abusive & demanding when they went to these businesses etc.

A gang is a gang...Ever wonder that since they were allowed to rent this hotel for several continuous years, that we have an incredible crystal meth & crack problem, now?? They were patient, they laid out the groundwork, they have the money & power, and now years later Kelowna is now being over - run by aggressive dealers, grow-op's & deadly drugs !!! And now they want to set up a clubhouse here!!!???

There was always one here, but now it's being made public. Sure there will always be those small grow-op's by people who want to make some fast money, and of course there's "so-called bums" in the park, but over all those "bums" are pretty easy going people, some have been living on the street for years, but they're relatively harmless. It's the "wanna-be Angels" that are out there hurting these desperate people, trying to control every grow-op in Kelowna, making crystal meth and selling it to our youth.

So get "Real JR"...one day Kelowna will be half owned by these guys. They're smart, wealthy, and they won't do a damn thing for our community & our kids, they just ain't a bunch of guys riding motorcycles. Look what happened in Quebec, they have been around since the 60's, and they're stronger & smarter now ..read the literature about these guys, look at the task forces larger cities have, just for them.

I say the City of Kelowna & the RCMP should do everything & anything to keep them out of our "little" city. Bust them for every infraction, do raids, use surveillance..anything, just keep them out, cause one day we will all regret letting them in. They will one day own this town, you can count on it, just like they are.
