Door To Door Canvassers

I have had a beef with the Multiple Sclerosis Society for some time now...

A couple of years ago, I donated $25 to a door-to-door canvasser for MS Society. Since then, I have been plagued by them in the mail - they have sent me so many address labels, note pads, etc. - and always with the request for more money. I have probably received hundreds of address labels - way more than any normal person could ever even use!! I WILL NEVER donate to these people again unfortunately, because they have absolutely wasted my $25 donation. I don't donate to a cause just so I can get free stuff - I want the money to go towards the research for a cure.

Do others feel this way? If so, they should write these societies and ask them to STOP these incentives - we don't need the silly gimmicks. Use my money wisely and maybe I'll donate again next year.
