Re. B Moore’s letter Unhappy with Strata Act (Castanet, Jan. 16)
In our Canadian constitution, there is to be no discrimination for age in our country, yet our province and others allow age discrimination in many facets of our society
Alberta removed all age restrictions for newly built complexes in 2018 and any complexes built prior to that have a 15-year window to remove such restrictions.
I am a born British Columbian and am in full support of the new Strata Act, but it needs to go the Alberta route.
Any form of discrimination in our country is unacceptable.
