How is it satisfactory that all these new homes are added and no new parks/play areas are built to accommodate all the new families?
It makes no sense at all that the City of Kelowna lets developers build what they want but not provide enough infrastructure.
Currently, the land adjacent to the new Green Square towers has huge holes being dug by bored neighbourhood children (and they) pose a serious risk of collapse. The area requires the promised recreational infrastructure, not hollow answers.
I thought a new mayor would bring assistance to neighbourhoods. Did city staff also speak with families in this neighbourhood?
