Doesn't feel PM is open

Re. A Gordon's letter Trudeau just being open (Castanet, Nov 17)

A Gordon, our prime Minister does not deserve your defence unless you're asking (and he's obliging) for him to be open about the hotel suite in London for $6,000, what happened to Canada’s former attorney general, why (former finance minister) Bill Morneau resigned, why the ArriveCan app cost so much, be open about his rationale to (invoke) the Emergencies Act or why it was more important to go surfing in Tofino than be present for (the first) national Truth and Reconciliation day.

C’mon A Gordon, you know as well as I that Trudeau is only open if there is political gain for him. When it backfires he apologizes without sincerity.

Trudeau is high on virtue signalling but low on action. This man does not represent the average Canadian. Ask him to be open about his decision to axe proportional representation. See how far you get with his "openness"

Mike Maglione
