I see Dawn Tucker is running for Vernon city council.
A while ago, she posted an article on a local Facebook forum expressing her excitement about the then soon-to-be-opening the new Costco (store) in Kelowna.
When I commented on the blog that Vernon people would be better advised to spend their money closer to home, especially at small businesses in Vernon, my post was deleted.
On Tuesday, I read Tucker claims to support small business. What is it going to be? Is she for big businesses like Costco or when challenged with a differing opinion, will she simply ignore the concerns or worse, delete them? Hardly a good candidate for city council.
What is she afraid of?
