I moved to North Glenmore 20 years ago and have watched the much needed sports and recreation fields/centre postponed several times citing no funds in the budget to complete. To date is is still partially unfinished. We are a fast growing community full of young families with children that could sure use the facility.
Now I see the Mission Sports Centre is proposed to have $60 million for upgrades. Upgrades! We can’t even get our park finished as promised.
I guess the wealthy campaign donors speaks for itself.
