Re. Mayoral candidates face off (Castanet, Sept 29)
Listening to the debate for (Kelowna) mayoral candidates (Wednesday night), there was mention of the homeless—street people—but once again nobody spoke about where all these people come from and why.
There was no mention how many of the homeless are working people in low-wage jobs and how (candidates) would help the homeless working people now to get roofs over their heads and food on their tables.
Why is this such a problem for mayoral and councillor (candidates) to answer?
