Re. Rachel Batista's letter Allergic to dogs (Castanet, July 26)
You know your life is a bit too easy when you're writing Castanet about your fear of off-leash, friendly dogs.
The vast majority of people with off-leash dogs aren't trying to kill anyone, nor are they putting their aggressive dogs off-leash. These are friendly, domesticated dogs and that is why they can be afforded to be off leash every so often.
But hey, if you're someone who is terrified that a happy doggo might come your way, then perhaps you should reconsider going outside all together. There are far more dangerous things to worry about, believe me.
Life is good when you're writing Castanet about a dog that sniffed you at the park. Try to enjoy it.
