I had a severe episode of vertigo on June 2 and was concerned enough that my wife and I went to emergency department at Kelowna General Hospital at around 7:30 p.m. I have the highest of praise for the staff attending to my needs. They did numerous tests to rule out any possible serious complications.
We spent five hours there and, in spite of overwork and staffing shortages, time was taken to ensure my wellbeing.
The (health care) system does need fixing but the caregivers do not. They are the best and they need our support.
Thanks to all of you at KGH.
