Re. Robert Hepting’s letter Why protest U.S. decision? (Castanet, June 28)
I read the letter by Robert Hepting regarding why people are protesting the (U.S. Supreme Court ruling on abortion).
I don't know what planet (the writer) grew up on? The whole point of people protesting in Canada is to show the support for women's rights that were taken away in the U.S.
If we don't stand up for all women in every county, and show support for women, especially when their rights about their bodies are taken away, God knows what will be taken away next.
I'm sorry (the writer) has to question why people want to show their support for women in any way.
