Re. Eldorado Hotel offers jobs and emergency housing to displaced Ukrainians (Castanet, May 20)
How wonderful that (The Eldorado Hotel in Kelowna) is welcoming the people of the Ukraine.
Due to the language barrier, I am sure most jobs will be housekeeping until they can master the English language, but this is a start.
They will be so thankful to have a job.
B.C. people don't seem to want to work so I am sure the Eldorado is doing a happy dance to have thankful, dedicated employees.
The best part is these people from Ukraine will never forget the gift given to them and hopefully pay it forward.
