No sympathy for Big White

Re.: Big White wants Hwy 3 open (Castanet, Nov. 29)

In light of all the catastrophes that parts of the province are undergoing I find it difficult to sympathize with Big White.

It is more important for those communities (affected) to have access to aid, our supply chains operating and our shelves stocked than to worry about some skiers from the Lower Mainland. Conditions are mediocre at best throughout the valley.

The Okanagan, for the most part, escaped the recent disasters and I'm sure if all this rain transitions to snow, our resorts will be full of visitors.
