I agree with the B.C. travel restrictions, although if Trudeau had ordered enough vaccines, we would not be having these restrictions. Also, they should be stopping flights from India, their have been numerous flights coming in to Canada with the covid 19 infections, what are they doing with those people?

I have been handling things pretty well, not a lot of stress where I live in ‘small town’ Okanagan.
However with these new rules I am definitely feeling fear/anger/frustration and betrayal that the country I’ve always lived in thinks I am incapable of making sensible choices. I am not afraid of getting sick. I am afraid of the bullying tactics of my own government who doesn’t seem to be rational anymore!

I for one think the government should have done this last year! It was left up to the individuals to abide by social distancing and travel but that didn’t work did it! As for travel, if it was essential only why are there so many flights and ferries coming and going! Surely that isn’t all “essential." I can’t even see why anyone would have to travel for work given our current situation! Perhaps a carpenter, plumber, roofer, labourer sure but office, sales staff ... no. Time to get serious and put this behind us.

I understand covid is a life or death situation and we need to listen to our government officials, but why do they let planes fly into Canada from countries that are bringing people with COVID and they think thats alright. Then they tell Mr and Mrs Joe citizen stay home, no traveling in your little area.
They will shut down a little store that has a few people in it, but big box stores like Costco, Wal-Mart where its bumper to bumper people, Premier Horgan and the rest of them thinks its OK.
