Waiting for what?

I am extremely disappointed at Canada's and BC's vaccination strategy. As of this writing we were 57th overall in the world and we even are taking vaccinations that should be sent to poorer countries in the world. This is shameful and embarrassing

Health officials are excited about new vaccination choices. I am not. Why would someone want to choose a 62% effective vaccination when 90+% effective vaccinations are available? Yes, I may not die or get severely sick with Astra Zeneca but the mRNA vaccinations provide near total protection as I am led to believe

Next, Germany and France are not giving AZ vaccination to seniors over 65 and South Africa has returned their AZ as they claim it does not work on their variant. And we are celebrating this?

Then, Dr Henry is now saying we can go four months before a second booster shot although neither Moderna or Pfizer recommend this. Are we now human guinea pigs?

Finally, Mr Horgan was asked if people could choose their vaccination. His reply was "that is not part of my strategy"

Well, I do want to choose my vaccination since it is going in my body and effects my life choices. Giving people choice, even if they have to pay for it, would help offload the public healthcare system. It is time that Canadians do not blindly accept second rate performance from our elected and bureaucratic officials.
