Has anyone been paying attention to the news lately? Our esteemed Liberal government has signed several trade agreements that have had detrimental effects for Canadian dairy and poultry farmers. Today, the Minister of Agriculture, Marie-Claude Bibeau, announced $691M in funding to support the dairy/poultry industry. Am I the only one appalled by this?
Our federal government should not be signing agreements that don’t put Canadians’ interests first. So now they take funds from the Canadian taxpayer to subsidize this industry that struggles, due to the governments ineptness.
