We protect each other

Re: Mask drama at mall

First off Mrs. Faechner, if as you claim that you suffer from a “medical condition” then why on earth were you wandering around a mall with the many non-masked people without protecting yourself.

Secondly, LUSH is not only looking after you, the customer but it’s employees by having everyone wear a mask: I PROTECT YOU AND YOU PROTECT ME. I think you just have to ask some of the business that were affected by Covid 19 this summer and they will be more than happy to tell you about the financial cost and emotional toll it took on owners and staff alike.

It is this arrogance and self-centeredness that is prolonging this epidemic with phrases of “it is overblown, it is My Right Not To Wear a Mask, no one is going to tell me what to do”, until you get sick and then you put ambulance attendants and hospital staff at risk, and then of course you will be looking to blame someone instead of looking at yourself.

If we want to get a handle on this epidemic then more stores need to step up to the plate and demand customers wear masks and for those who think “their rights" are being trampled on then I hope “your right” takes care of you if get COVID.
