I find it ironic that we go to such extremes as killing off wolves and moose to protect a shrinking caribou herds yet consider allowing developers to go in to sensitive areas and totally strip an ecosystem so as to draw hundreds of people all for the almighty buck.
Maybe if we didn't have disregard for our planet and blaming disappearing species on nature trying to survive on ever shrinking food supplies, then we don't have to kill anything that looks like a threat to the survival of a few animals due to human activity not nature's struggle to survive. Economics over environment has never made sense to me.
