We have seen the wide protests in the states over racism and police brutality and think that it doesn’t happen here. I saw the short video of the police arresting a man the other day where two of them are holding him (and struggling) and this third officer comes running over and starts repeatedly punching the man.
Most police officers I believe are conscientious and do a good job of protecting citizens but this type of police brutality reflects badly on them all. This is what needs to stop. I hope that action by the Chief is taken against this officer to set the example that this won’t be tolerated. We don’t need our police officers to emulate the states.
