My wife and I once were trapped outside in -15 C weather in thin coats for nearly two hours, waiting for a cab after a company Christmas party in 2016.
We found out from the cab driver that the number of cabs operating in the Okanagan is capped.
If it weren’t for someone letting us into a building to warm up, we would have likely developed hypothermia before the cab arrived.
We need ride-sharing. The situation with cab companies in this town is ridiculous.
