Just can't get ahead

I am a homeless person at the Kelowna Gospel Mission.

Mt first time here.

I worked three months day labour to buy an old car. I want to get out of here.

I apply for many regular jobs, but now I have nowhere to park, and I get tickets I can't afford.

I park 10 blocks away in residential areas and still get tickets.

I will not ever get ahead – it would be easier to just collect welfare and commit crimes to live than try to make it.
