Facts confirm his beliefs

On Nov. 23, Castanet ran an article by Nicholas Johansen entitled 'Dying to get into treatment' which stated that it cost $73.65 million dollars (yes, million) to support 293 dedicated treatment positions for the whole province, which includes the 20 here in Kelowna.

On Nov. 25, Castanet ran an article by Wayne Moore entitled '$12 million more to police city' which stated that it's going to cost that much more to support a total of 84 additional policing staff (56 members and 12 civilian).

I'm no accountant, but it appears to me we are paying way more per unit for our unproductive, non-contributing, do-it-to-themselves victims of our uncaring society than we are willing to pay for tax-paying, productive, law-abiding citizens.

These articles confirm my opinion of the self-righteous, bleeding-heart, politically correct vocal minority, who apparently are the only ones allowed to voice an opinion without being roasted, tried and convicted in the kangaroo court of mainstream and social media.
