Since when does a business have to consult with their clients when it comes to changes? Unless the OUC students sit on the board of directors, they have to realize that they do not have a say in how the school is managed. The OUC/UBC merger could very well be a good thing for the community and for the students, however several of these students are to busy dramatizing the whole situation.
When you go to a store, do you expect the store owner to tell you if he plans to sell to another company. Why expect something different from the school you are attending? Schools, like stores, are businesses first and foremost. When students realize this and get back to their studies they will be for the better. A school like a business does not have to consult with its clients in order to make changes, it only has to consult with its Directors.
