Dog control 'heartless'

We recently moved, and as such had just put all funds we had into doing so.

Our dog got out and was in the parking lot of the Old Spaghetti Factory, and someone picked him up and took him to the vet clinic.

We looked for him for hours that night and could not find him.

The next morning, I received a notification that Tracker's microchip was scanned and he was at the vet clinic. So at 9 a.m. I called them and they informed me that dog control had picked him up.

Dog control then told me it would be a $100 fee to pick him up. I'd like to point out that at this point they had him for five minutes. I informed them that I didn't get paid until the 10th and I would have to call back closer to the day to and try get the funds.

Tracker has his ESA support registration and tags, as he helps with my son, who has disabilities.

These money hungry people refused to work with me in any way and refused to give me any information.

They are clearly not in this job because they like or love animals.

We have a very upset family, and even more so, children.

Kelowna dog control is a heartless, money hungry organization. The officers were not at all understanding and were just plain nasty to talk to.
