So the BC Utilities Commission investigates the price of gasoline and wants to know why it is so much more expensive in this province compared to the rest of the country.
Their findings? NOTHING!
As a matter of fact, the oil and gas industry basically said to bugger off, "we like being greedy, and it's none of your business how much money we make!"
I think this arrogant attitude has to stop. If the oil and gas industry wants our natural resources, then they better beg for them.
After all, that oil in the ground belongs to us Canadians, each and every one of us, not them.
Taxpayers have spent so much money on this investigation only to be told to go take a hike.
