I love it when people who move to Kelowna from other parts of the country decide how we can improve our city!
Murray, from the Lower Mainland says we should have a bypass. No-brainer, he says! Apparently, traffic flows are free like a bird where he comes from.
Hate to break it to ya, Murray ol' boy, people coming into Kelowna are coming to Kelowna!
If they were going Kamloops or north, they use the Connector. Anybody going to Vernon or Armstrong has the option of Westside Road. Kootenay-goers have several options without coming through Kelowna.
Of course, the other option would be another lake crossing, and I'm not sure which part of the Lower Mainland he hails from, but it's not feasible with our relatively small population to spend several billion dollars.
