Bypass unnecessary

As much as people believe a highway bypass around Kelowna is required, the data does not support it.

The vast majority of traffic in the Central Okanagan Corridor is for the Central Okanagan.

The reality is there is already a bypass for traffic not going to the Central Okanagan, and that is Highway 5 between Merritt and Kamloops.

Any traffic from western B.C., all the way up to West Kelowna that is heading north can easily bypass Kelowna via more efficient routes already.

The traffic you see heading through the Okanagan already isn’t just trying to get through the Okanagan, it is trying to get to, from, or within it.
