We are indeed fortunate to have the benefit of Diane Eaton's insight, advising us how we should vote.

Unfortunately, there is one major flaw in her argument.

Stephen Harper may well have been elected by 39.6% of the electorate, however the Liberal government was elected in 2015 with just 39.5% of the vote.

If we follow her rather distorted logic, this government also has "no legitimate claim to power."

How is it then that she is exhorting us to cast our votes for an illegitimate government?
