I do not live in Kelowna, but feel it has become the cesspool of the Okanagan in recent years.
There are many areas I would never enter. I feel so badly for the businesses downtown. There are many great businesses, but due to the unsafe feeling, I avoid the area. Sadly, this feeling is expanding to other neighbourhoods as well.
I have been a resident of the Okanagan since the mid-1970s. It used to be such a beautiful place to live. I can no longer say that.
Doesn’t matter, Vernon, Kelowna, or Penticton.
Citizens need to stand up and say “Enough!”
People who make poor choices are destroying the lives of those who make good choices.
