Too many fires man-caused

Just a suggestion, but year after year there seems to be an absurd amount of wildfires that are "human caused."

Given what Okanagan communities have been through with fires, it boggles my mind how many of these wildfires are still human caused.

We cannot control fires ignited by lightning, but surely we can educate one another to stop the senseless human caused portion of the fires that are costing taxpayers hundreds of millions of dollars annually.

More must be done regarding preventable wildfires.
