Say no to migration pact

This is to express my disagreement with Canada signing on to the UN Migration Pact in December.

There is ambiguity in the pact. There is no distinction or mention between legal or illegal entry into any country. It places persons from foreign countries in positions of authority over our immigration system. It adds mightily to the tax burden of every Canadian citizen.

The UN will have complete authority to force Canada to house tens or even hundreds of thousands of migrants that will include gang members, drug traffickers, prostitution and child abuse groups without any vetting.

Canadians will have to pay all costs without any say in the process. Unscrupulous migrants will be imbedded with the good ones and will be housed in every community.

Canadians want immigrants to come to Canada legally. They want immigrants that will desire to grow our nation and add to the foundation that our pioneer relatives sacrificed their lives for and fought two world wars to maintain our freedoms.

They want immigrants that will accept our laws and our religious freedoms and will not attempt to destroy these freedoms and establish the failed ideals of the countries they have chosen to leave.

That Justin Trudeau wants to lead the charge to adapt the UN Migration Pact without a referendum and without Canadians having a voice in this nation-changing act is unconscionable.

Led by the United States, other countries are opting out of the pact. Canada should do likewise.
