Further to the letter from Ken Oakes, we should all be outraged that Stats Can wants to access our bank accounts without our knowledge or permission.
What is equally outrageous is that they were trying to sneak this through parliament and hoping that nobody would notice.
Where is the outrage from our local MP Stephen Fuhr?
There is absolutely no way that Stats Can can guarantee this data won't be hacked and used to compromise our bank accounts, so let's not give them the chance.
