We are being asked to get out of our comfort zone, turn our heat down and have cold showers to reduce natural gas consumption.
I am willing to do my part.
Interesting coincidence, this shortage event happening at the same time millions of square feet of energy-gobbling cannabis grow operations are cranking up the gas heat.
According to a CBC story, Canopy Growth Corp alone has three million square feet of greenhouse production operating. BC Tweed has three greenhouses of 400,000 square feet each in Langley.
Those are just two of the big players.
Maybe I could choose not to use pot and just have a nice hot shower?
