Every year, I get my renewal reminder from ICBC congratulating me on the $600-ish I've saved for being a safe driver.
Yet, every year, my insurance is more expensive than the year before.
It blows my mind that we are forced to buy vehicle insurance from a single, corrupt, government-owned provider.
They have no competition to try and keep insurance affordable, and we have no other choice but to bend over and accept their extortion.
The citizens of British Columbia are being robbed in broad daylight every day.
I thought I moved to Canada, not North Korea!
Isn't it time citizens said enough is enough and demanded fair and affordable options for vehicle insurance that aren't run by outdated government agencies?
