Living close to Tugboat Beach I observe daily dog owners ignoring the ‘no dog on beach’ bylaw. Some dog owners react hostile when confronted.
I have 3 suggestions for our city bylaw department:
1. Add another sign to the existing ‘no dogs’ sign informing dog owners about the nearest dog beach alternatives
2. Post a phone number of nearby security people
3. Impose a $200 fine
