What happened to English?

You know those really annoying, anonymous telephone solicitations you get every day?

Well, I got one in Chinese! For which I apologize not having learned in high school, rather than that almost dead language, French.

I would like the CRTC to look into it for me, to reassure me that English is still the official language of Canada.

I realize that China has us hands down in terms of population (1.4 billion vs. 36 million), but if English becomes a minority language in Canada, does that mean we English speakers get the special grant award or something?
