Accountability vs. money

I am surprised how many British Columbians are not standing up for their province when it comes to the safety and well being of our economy and environmental well being.

Yes the pipeline is approved, but why is there not a solid plan for the tankers to transport the oil in and out of our coastal waters? There is nothing solid showing British Columbians that when a spill occurs (which it will happen) that there is going to be an adequate spill response.

Has history not showed what an oil spill/ accident can do to the economy and the harsh environmental consequences to follow? Instead of banning BC wine, why not sit down with BC government and ask what is needed to make this a long lasting safe and successful venture.

It all comes down to money and accountability. If you had a choice, what is more important to you as a BC resident?
