With our winter conditions in Kelowna & the constant shovelling of sidewalks by home owners & businesses, I find it unbelievable that some of the "businesses" that are not shovelling the walks are the city owned establishments.
The city has stated that fines can be implemented if walks are not cleared. I walk a lot downtown and as I was walking up Ellis, all walks were cleared except the mush & slush in front of the library. Who is responsible for this section? Or how about in front of the city owned parking lots?
Come on Kelowna, help the citizens that walk, instead of taking their car out in this weather.
