Cigarette ban
Once upon a time, a group of responsible people called the government took action and decided the wise decision to ban cigarettes would be beneficial to all of the people that live in British Columbia.
Their decision to make this tax move was obvious. Lose the taxes paid thru the sale of tobacco or gain the profits saved on Health Care and, the cost to save our forests, and all of the costs involved in fighting these forest fires.
It was a bold move on their part but well worth the risk to all concerned. It is obvious we need a responsible Government to take us boldly in to a new world.
