I went on a very different kind of tour yesterday. I learned about it through Tourism Kelowna. It's a historical walking tour in downtown Kelowna. Extremely informative, stopped at 3 locations for a sip of something good. That was very cool. The guide's name is Lee Carroll, found out she started it as well.
I have lived here for 35 years and I learned things about Kelowna that I never knew. I’ve been on wine tours etc. but never on anything like this since I was in New Orleans. Truly not your typical tour and not a wine tour.
Lee told me she was going to start a grains and vines historical tour as well later in the afternoon. That, I am definitely going on too. We loved it and also learned it's the only tour of its kind here.
