Hooray for O'Keefe Ranch and their celebrations. I recognize it is a huge piece of history.
After reading the last minute news article on Castanet, I feel it is poorly organized.
I also think that it was discriminatory to give free admission to Spallumcheen residents only. Is this how you read this article? I read that all other north Okanagan residents must pay full price for admittance. I'm I right? If I am, too bad, because I won't be there.
I also know City of Vernon grants the ranch with lots of money. Money from Vernon taxpayers. Is this how you say thank you?
Who ever is steering this boat needs to be replaced. This is not including the entire community and does not encourage more participation.
